I am so excited for you to join me for this one-off unique webinar on my return from a week of hands-on learning in the dissection labs at the world class Plastinarium in Germany where I will be exploring the interconnectedness of our human body. The specific focus of this webinar is my own personal key advanced anatomy take-aways for our practice as facialists and therapists working with the face.

"This is a real dream come true moment for me and I want to share my own key take aways with you!" FH

This webinar is very much about Fiona's personal take aways after a week in dissection translated into the specific context of fascia focused facial work.

Anatomy is the foundation to every good practice.

Contemporary fascia anatomy specialists continue to break new ground.
As facialists working daily on the human body let's not be left behind!
Instead let's be a part of this anatomy revolution!
Being a part of the fascia anatomy revolution primarily means two things:
(1) Being willing and able to evaluate our practice
(2) Keep curious and engaged with anatomy

Not only will she have the privilege of being taught by two of the most eminent fascia focused dissectors in the world, Gary Carter and Jihan Adem, but as a part of this small, very fortunate group she will be living and studying at the Plastinarium in Guben where there is also the opportunity for hands-on dissection and focus on a personal project.

Plus she will be guided around the fascia plastinate FR:IEA, the worlds first human fascia plastinate, at the Bodyworlds exhibition in Berlin by Gary Carter and Jihan Adem who were both instrumental in her creation and dissection.

This utterly unique opportunity will be a time of great learning and enormous personal development.

Undoubtedly it will transform Fiona's facial practice is unknown and magnificent ways.

Now Fiona wants to share her own key personal take aways for facialists with you in this one-off webinar.

However, having already had the privilege of spending just a short time in the dissection lat at Kings College London and knowing just how dramatically this impacted and changed her practice in the most beautiful ways Fiona can only imagine how utterly life changing and transformational to her practice it will be to spend a week with Gary Carter and Jihan Adem in hands-on dissection and learning at the Plastinarium home to the world famous Bodyworlds exhibition and where the Bodyworlds teams prepare medical and art dissections.

Meet Fiona Harlowe

INTEGRATION - EASE – MOVEMENT - LIFT - ACCEPTANCE

Fiona is an experienced facialist, advanced clinical massage therapist, qualified aromatherapist, anthropologist, natural perfumer and passionate student of anatomy.

She seamlessly integrates a bodyworkers perspective into effective anatomy focused facials. Feeling that both a good grounding in anatomy science and also a dynamic fire of enthusiasm for contemporary anatomy is still generally lacking when it comes to facial training Fiona has developed anatomy workshops specifically for facialists. Not not only can her Artisan Fascia Anatomy approach enhance any existing way of working with the face but it will also re/ignite a real passion for a life-long learning about the human body. After all anatomy science is the bedrock to good facial practice.

As a facialist Fiona has spent the past two decades specialising in treating maturing faces and complex skin. Whilst understanding the importance of an intuitive, fully integrated and deeply holistic approach to both skincare and bodywork Fiona focuses her own practice on the TMJ and myofascial pathways.

In the past Fiona has been honoured to be commissioned to design facials for skincare companies and spas as well as teach her radical approaches across Europe and also in the US. Her work has been featured in the UK National Press with glowing review.

Learning about bio-tensegrity and the myofascial system was a game changer for Fiona. Understanding the body within the context of the myofascial system not only transformed Fiona’s practice but revolutionised the way she sees and moves her own body. Now she wants to share these gateways to expansion with you.

After studying numerous manual therapy modalities Fiona had a light-bulb moment after spending privileged time in the dissection laboratory at Kings College London. It was here that she fully comprehended the true, awe inspiring connectedness of the human body for the first time and saw the whole-body pathways of the myofascial system for herself.

Not only did Fiona’s time in the dissection laboratory revolutionise her practice, most importantly, it transformed her touch. She has adapted and applied fascial techniques to her own facial practice to create maximum therapeutic effect. This work is so much more than the dramatic visual, surface results clients see after a treatment with Fiona - it is the way in which they feel which is so utterly transformative. Myofascial work is a powerful practice. It is as much an internal reset as it is an external one. Outcomes evolve over time.

Good understandings of anatomy are the fundamental bedrock to good practice. Fiona hopes to inspire others with her sheer delight and joy for anatomy and the journeys of self-discovery diving deep into human anatomy can take us on. She hopes to enthuse others on their own personal journeys of discovery and offer a safe, capacious space in which to continue to explore ideas and develop skills together.

Together let's create the freedom we want to feel!
